Where is a nice place to sit and enjoy the skyline from afar?

Try the north end of 10th street entry up onto the riverbank, and go east towards 16th street, or go west towards Discovery Park. Also check behind the Blue Diamond nut plant on 16th and C streets. Back along those areas the river's edge, it's high enough to see over most the buildings to the skyline. Also, from Old Sacramento, go along the riverside towards Discovery Park towards Richards Blvd. Different spots will give you different perspectives. I go those ways to and from work on my bike.
