Writing ignment may turn into novel?

It's okay, I think though, instead of her collapsing when she notices Jake hooking up with Ashley she should walk right up there and practically scream obscenities at them. I personally would prefer to read about a girl who is strong and independant rather than a girl who collapses when she notices her then-boyfriend kissing someone else.
