Why cant one make Salat in English, or a woman pray or read quran during her Moon (period)?

Having much experience in Christian and Judaic theology, as well as their "legalisms" I struggle with this Ideology, Allah is Omnipotent, we know in Judeo Christian Theology Jew and Gentile both worship in their own tongues, and He would never turn a deaf ear to his daughters because of a monthly cycle, created by him...as all things are only possible through Allah..As a Native American my tongue is Lakota, G-d speaks to me in Lakota, but as a Convert to Islam and my past experience with Ministry vs Personal Revelation, I see these rules as just another set of man made legalisms, alot of superstition and some uneseccary "fence building" please help me understand, I need something more concrete than just the normal Imam said ideology, Shukran...alau Aleiykum...
