Could you please read this play and provide your insights?

I would forget trying to do an accent. This reads like blank verse. You need to speak crisply, very good diction, and don't drop the ends of the words/lines. What they call a Mid-Atlantic accent which is nothing more than enunciating the words clearly and cleanly.
