Duke nukem forever or la noir?

It would be impossible for someone to give you the right answer. First off, both games are entirely different, there's no way to compare them and say one is better then the other. Second off Duke Nukem Forever isn't out yet so who's to say for a shooter it will be good or bad. Your best bet would be to check out some gaming sites to watch some videos and read up on what the gameplay is like. A good site I like is IGN.com. This all comes down to taste. If your a casual gamer go with Duke, you will hate L.A. Noire. I own the game and love it, but it's not for everyone. It's a much slower pace and you can' t do anything you want like you could in Grand Theft Auto. It's a detective game not an action game, you have to keep that in mind. Plus it's very mature, the themes and cases are more like a good CSI investigation and if your not 18 you shouldn't be playing this. Now Duke on the other hand while no one can say for sure if it will be good or bad will be a whole different animal all together. First off this title is also loaded with crude adult humor, strong ual content, nudity, the whole works so unless your old enough count on mommy having to pick this game up for you..(and if she's any kind of a mother she won't) Duke will be an old school first person shooter. lots of explosions, lots of crude jokes, and lots of gore.....ohh and **** too, everything that made Duke Nukem what it is today. This game will be alot easier to pick up and play and won't rely on any real strong story elements...just kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, watch stripper, kill, kill, kill....a pure adrenaline, macho, chauvinistic, male-gasm! I own L.A. Noire and I plan on picking up Duke Nukem Forever. If your a mature gamer who wants something different in your gaming experience then go for L.A. Noire. If your a COD fanboy type gamer, stick to Duke. It all comes down to what kind of a gamer you are. If you like it all then do what I'm doing and get them both.. :)
