My cat was neutered 3 days ago he is still pawing me causing him to get and spraying, will he stop?

I was given this male, short haired domestic cat and was told he had been "fixed" well he starting "kneading" on my leg,stomach ect for a long time then I realized he was and there were wet spots on my clothes,when I tried to pick him up he yowel's at me and growels plus he started spraying. I got him neutered 3 days ago and last night he started the same thing again. Will he stop doing this after a few days? If not what can I do to get him to stop molesting me whenever I sit down and keep him from making my house smell terrible? Any help is appreciated!!!!! Thanks. Lisa
