What Genre Do These Movies Fit Into?

My name is Ray and I'm 19 years old. I love movies. I watch them almost everyday with my girlfriend. But i like certain movies and i can't figure out what genre they fit into. I like movies such as American Beauty, Vanilla sky, The book of eli...movies that really make you feel the world and touch your heart. The music is beautiful enough to make you cry and the world feels quiet and soft. Movies that you can just listen to their sound tracks and lay and watch the stars. But not many people understand where i'm coming from or what i'm talking about because most people don't appreciate this type of "Beauty" i guess you could call it. its almost a psychadelic feeling. I don't do drugs or even drink. I just love to feel myself slip away into the beauty of these movies and feel how deep they and their music go. Other movies i love include the shawshank redemption, the and boondock saints. Theres a million others i can think of but its hard. The deepest of all of these movies are vanilla sky and american beauty. They have amazing music AND sountrack. Boondock saints just has great music and a bit of action and shawshank just tells a great story. My mains are vanilla sky and american beauty. Ialso love music like coldplay. Any ideas??
