Why are you a still a christian when there are mountains of scientific evidence against it?

Human thought by default hates Christianity, truth, and God. As time move on, through suffering or an inspired sense of spiritual oneness, thought must escape from its prison. When truth is understood, at length, then the science of a physical universe doesn't cut it anymore, and thought moves to a higher level of understanding.
