Cheap yet well made barrel saddles?
Alright, I know you are going to tell me to check out the local clifieds, Craigslist, and Ebay, but barrel racing isn't very huge around here, so Craigslist and local clifieds have little to offer. And a lot of the saddles on Ebay are brand new saddles by crap brands that typically fall apart. I have a Big Horn barrel saddle and love it, it's worth about a $1,000 though. I just got a new horse who I am schooling, but with one saddle it is getting difficult to take both to one race, especially since my new horse is so much bigger, so I have to change cinches as well. So I figure a new saddle would benefit. I don't need anything fancy, I just want something that will hold up to racing and not hurt my horse or myself. So do you know any brands by chance that aren't going to cost me an arm and a leg? Thanks!
